ledavid barekhi nafshi et-Adonai vekhol-qeravay et-shem qodsho

Of David. Bless GOD, O my soul, all my being, that holy name.

barekhi nafshi et-Adonai ve'al-tishkekhi kol-gemulayw

Bless the ETERNAL One, O my soul, and do not forget all God’s bounties.

hassoleakh lekhol-avonekhi harofe lekhol-takhalu'ayekhi

All your sins are forgiven, all your diseases healed.

haggo'el mishakhat khayyayekhi hame'atterekhi khesed verakhamim

Your life is redeemed from the Pit, you are surrounded with steadfast love and mercy.

hammasbia battov edyekh titkhaddesh kannesher ne'urayekhi

You are satisfied with good things in the prime of life, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

oseh tsedaqot Adonai umishpatim lekhol-ashuqim

GOD executes righteous acts and judgments for all who are wronged—

yodia derakhayw lemosheh livne yisra'el alilotayw

making known to Moses the divine ways, and to the children of Israel, holy deeds.

rakhum vekhannun Adonai erekh appayim verav-khased

GOD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love.

lo-lanetsakh yariv velo le'olam yittor

[God] will not contend forever, or nurse anger for all time.

lo khakhata'enu asah lanu velo kha'avonotenu gamal alenu

[God] has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor requited us according to our iniquities.

ki khigvoah shamayim al-ha'arets gavar khasdo al-yere'ayw

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is divine steadfast love toward those who show reverence.

kirkhoq mizrakh mimma'arav hirkhiq mimmennu et-pesha'enu

As east is far from west, so far have our sins been removed from us.

kerakhem av al-banim rikham Adonai al-yere'ayw

As a father has compassion for his children, so GOD has compassion for those who show reverence.

ki-hu yada yitsrenu zakhur ki-afar anakhenu

For [God] knows how we are formed, and is mindful that we are dust.

enosh kekhatsir yamayw ketsits hassadeh ken yatsits

Mortals, their days are like those of grass; they bloom like a flower of the field;

ki ruakh averah-bbo ve'enennu velo-yakkirennu od meqomo

a wind passes by and it is no more, its own place no longer knows it.

vekhesed Adonai me'olam ve'ad-olam al-yere'ayw vetsidqato livne vanim

But GOD’s steadfast love is for all eternity toward those who show reverence, and God’s beneficence is for the children’s children

leshomere verito ulezokhere fiqqudayw la'asotam

of those who keep the covenant and remember to observe the divine precepts.

Adonai bashamayim hekhin kiso umalkhuto bakkol mashalah

GOD has established the heavenly throne, with a sovereign rule over all.

barekhu Adonai malakhayw gibbore khoakh ose devaro lishmoa beqol devaro

Bless the ETERNAL One, O angels, mighty creatures who do God’s bidding, ever obedient to that bidding;

barekhu Adonai kol-tseva'ayw mesharetayw ose retsono

bless the ETERNAL One, all you hosts, you servants who do God’s will;

barekhu Adonai kol-ma'asayw bekhol-meqomot memshalto barekhi nafshi et-Adonai

bless the ETERNAL One, all God’s works, through the length and breadth of God’s realm; bless the ETERNAL One, O my soul.
