דֶּלֶת פְּתוּחָה

Scholarship Places

One free lesson a week, for people who want to learn and genuinely can't pay for it right now.

What you get

  • ·One 25-minute lesson a week with me, live — Modern Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew, Yiddish or Aramaic.
  • ·Full access to the practice app between lessons — flashcards, reading, homework, your own vocabulary from each lesson.
  • ·Written notes after every lesson, in your own language if that helps.
  • ·No card, no trial that turns into a bill. It is free until you tell me you'd rather pay.

Who it's for

Students, people between jobs, pensioners, anyone studying theology or preparing to read prayers and texts in the original — where the money simply isn't there. You don't have to prove anything to me. Tell me your situation in a sentence and I'll take your word for it.

What I ask instead: show up, do a little between lessons, and tell me when you need to stop so the place can go to someone else.

I'm one teacher, so I keep a small number of these places open at a time. If they're full when you write, I'll tell you honestly and put you on the list rather than leaving you waiting.

Apply for a place

Two minutes. It comes straight to me, not to a form service.
