לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃
lamnatseakh mizmor ledavid
For the leader. A psalm of David.
עַד־אָ֣נָה יְ֭הֹוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד־אָ֓נָה ׀ תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת־פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
ad-anah Adonai tishkakheni netsakh ad-anah tastir et-panekha mimmenni
How long, O ETERNAL One; will You ignore me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
עַד־אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י יָג֣וֹן בִּלְבָבִ֣י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד־אָ֓נָה ׀ יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃
ad-anah ashit etsot benafshi yagon bilvavi yomam ad-anah yarum oyevi alay
How long will I have cares on my mind, grief in my heart all day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?
הַבִּ֣יטָֽה עֲ֭נֵנִי יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י הָאִ֥ירָה עֵ֝ינַ֗י פֶּן־אִישַׁ֥ן הַמָּֽוֶת׃
habbitah aneni Adonai elohay ha'irah enay pen-ishan hammavet
Look at me, answer me, O my ETERNAL God! Restore the luster to my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
פֶּן־יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣י יְכׇלְתִּ֑יו צָרַ֥י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט׃
pen-yomar oyevi yekholtiv tsaray yagilu ki emmot
lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,” my foes exult when I totter.
וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ אָשִׁ֥ירָה לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֖י גָמַ֣ל עָלָֽי׃ {פ}
va'ani bekhasdekha vatakhti yagel libbi bishu'atekha ashirah la-Adonai ki gamal alay
But I trust in Your faithfulness, my heart will exult in Your deliverance. I will sing to GOD, who has been good to me.
