Psalms 47

lamnatseakh livne-qorakh mizmor

For the leader. Of the Korahites. A psalm.

kol-ha'ammim tiqu-khaf hari'u lelohim beqol rinnah

All you peoples, clap your hands, raise a joyous shout for God.

ki-Adonai elyon nora melekh gadol al-kol-ha'arets

For GOD Most High is awesome, great ruler over all the earth,

yadber ammim takhtenu ule'ummim takhat raglenu

who subjects peoples to us, sets nations at our feet.

yivkhar-lanu et-nakhalatenu et-ge'on ya'aqov asher-ahev selah

[God] chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob the beloved. Selah.

alah elohim bitru'ah Adonai beqol shofar

God ascends midst acclamation; the ETERNAL, to the blasts of the horn.

zammeru elohim zammeru zammeru lemalkenu zammeru

Sing, O sing to God; sing, O sing to our sovereign;

ki melekh kol-ha'arets elohim zammeru maskil

for God is ruler over all the earth; sing a hymn.

malakh elohim al-goyim elohim yashav al-kisse qodsho

God reigns over the nations; God is seated on the holy throne.

nedive ammim ne'esafu am elohe avraham ki lelohim maginne-erets me'od na'alah

The great of the peoples are gathered together, the retinue of Abraham’s God; for the guardians of the earth belong to God, who is greatly exalted.
