לִבְנֵי־קֹ֭רַח מִזְמ֣וֹר שִׁ֑יר יְ֝סוּדָת֗וֹ בְּהַרְרֵי־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
livne-qorakh mizmor shir yesudato beharre-qodesh
Of the Korahites. A psalm. A song. The temple’s foundation on the holy mountains—
אֹהֵ֣ב יְ֭הֹוָה שַׁעֲרֵ֣י צִיּ֑וֹן מִ֝כֹּ֗ל מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת יַעֲקֹֽב׃
ohev Adonai sha'are tsiyyon mikkol mishkenot ya'aqov
the gates of Zion— GOD loves more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
נִ֭כְבָּדוֹת מְדֻבָּ֣ר בָּ֑ךְ עִ֖יר הָאֱלֹהִ֣ים סֶֽלָה׃
nikhbadot medubbar bakh ir ha'elohim selah
Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. Selah.
אַזְכִּ֤יר ׀ רַ֥הַב וּבָבֶ֗ל לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י הִנֵּ֤ה פְלֶ֣שֶׁת וְצֹ֣ר עִם־כּ֑וּשׁ זֶ֝֗ה יֻלַּד־שָֽׁם׃
azkir rahav uvavel leyode'ay hinneh feleshet vetsor im-kush zeh yullad-sham
I mention Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge Me; Philistia, and Tyre, and Cush—each was born there.
וּ֥לְצִיּ֨וֹן ׀ יֵאָמַ֗ר אִ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִישׁ יֻלַּד־בָּ֑הּ וְה֖וּא יְכוֹנְנֶ֣הָ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
uletsiyyon ye'amar ish ve'ish yullad-bah vehu yekhoneneha elyon
Indeed, it shall be said of Zion, “They were all born there.” It is the Most High who will preserve it.
יְֽהֹוָ֗ה יִ֭סְפֹּר בִּכְת֣וֹב עַמִּ֑ים זֶ֖ה יֻלַּד־שָׁ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
Adonai yispor bikhtov ammim zeh yullad-sham selah
GOD will inscribe in the register of peoples that each was born there. Selah.
וְשָׁרִ֥ים כְּחֹלְלִ֑ים כׇּֽל־מַעְיָנַ֥י בָּֽךְ׃ {פ}
vesharim kekholelim kol-mayanay bakh
Singers and dancers alike [will say]: “All my roots are in You.”
