לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃
lamnatseakh mizmor ledavid
For the leader. A psalm of David.
הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם מְֽסַפְּרִ֥ים כְּבֽוֹד־אֵ֑ל וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דָ֗יו מַגִּ֥יד הָרָקִֽיעַ׃
hashamayim mesapperim kevod-el uma'aseh yadayw maggid haraqia
The heavens declare the glory of God, the sky proclaims God’s handiwork.
י֣וֹם לְ֭יוֹם יַבִּ֣יעַֽ אֹ֑מֶר וְלַ֥יְלָה לְּ֝לַ֗יְלָה יְחַוֶּה־דָּֽעַת׃
yom leyom yabbia omer velaylah lelaylah yekhavveh-dda'at
Day to day makes utterance, night to night speaks out.
אֵֽין־אֹ֭מֶר וְאֵ֣ין דְּבָרִ֑ים בְּ֝לִ֗י נִשְׁמָ֥ע קוֹלָֽם׃
en-omer ve'en devarim beli nishma qolam
There is no utterance, there are no words, whose sound goes unheard.
בְּכׇל־הָאָ֨רֶץ ׀ יָ֘צָ֤א קַוָּ֗ם וּבִקְצֵ֣ה תֵ֭בֵל מִלֵּיהֶ֑ם לַ֝שֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ שָֽׂם־אֹ֥הֶל בָּהֶֽם׃
bekhol-ha'arets yatsa qavvam uviqtseh tevel millehem lashemesh sam-ohel bahem
Their voice carries throughout the earth, their words to the end of the world. [God] placed in them a tent for the sun,
וְה֗וּא כְּ֭חָתָן יֹצֵ֣א מֵחֻפָּת֑וֹ יָשִׂ֥ישׂ כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר לָר֥וּץ אֹֽרַח׃
vehu kekhatan yotse mekhuppato yasis kegibbor laruts orakh
who is like a groom coming forth from the chamber, like a hero, eager to run his course.
מִקְצֵ֤ה הַשָּׁמַ֨יִם ׀ מֽוֹצָא֗וֹ וּתְקוּפָת֥וֹ עַל־קְצוֹתָ֑ם וְאֵ֥ין נִ֝סְתָּ֗ר מֵחַמָּתֽוֹ׃
miqtseh hashamayim motsa'o utequfato al-qetsotam ve'en nistar mekhammato
His rising-place is at one end of heaven, and his circuit reaches the other; nothing escapes his heat.
תּ֘וֹרַ֤ת יְהֹוָ֣ה תְּ֭מִימָה מְשִׁ֣יבַת נָ֑פֶשׁ עֵד֥וּת יְהֹוָ֥ה נֶ֝אֱמָנָ֗ה מַחְכִּ֥ימַת פֶּֽתִי׃
torat Adonai temimah meshivat nafesh edut Adonai ne'emanah makhkimat peti
The teaching of GOD is perfect, renewing life; the decrees of GOD are enduring, making the simple wise,
פִּקּ֘וּדֵ֤י יְהֹוָ֣ה יְ֭שָׁרִים מְשַׂמְּחֵי־לֵ֑ב מִצְוַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֥ה בָּ֝רָ֗ה מְאִירַ֥ת עֵינָֽיִם׃
piqqude Adonai yesharim mesammekhe-lev mitsvat Adonai barah me'irat enayim
The precepts of GOD are just, rejoicing the heart; the instruction of GOD is lucid, making the eyes light up.
יִרְאַ֤ת יְהֹוָ֨ה ׀ טְהוֹרָה֮ עוֹמֶ֢דֶת לָ֫עַ֥ד מִֽשְׁפְּטֵי־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱמֶ֑ת צָֽדְק֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃
yirat Adonai tehorah omedet la'ad mishpete-Adonai emet tsadequ yakhdav
The fear of GOD is pure, abiding forever; the judgments of GOD are true, righteous altogether,
הַֽנֶּחֱמָדִ֗ים מִ֭זָּהָב וּמִפַּ֣ז רָ֑ב וּמְתוּקִ֥ים מִ֝דְּבַ֗שׁ וְנֹ֣פֶת צוּפִֽים׃
hannekhemadim mizzahav umippaz rav umetuqim middevash venofet tsufim
more desirable than gold, than much fine gold; sweeter than honey, than drippings of the comb.
גַּֽם־עַ֭בְדְּךָ נִזְהָ֣ר בָּהֶ֑ם בְּ֝שׇׁמְרָ֗ם עֵ֣קֶב רָֽב׃
gam-avdekha nizhar bahem beshomram eqev rav
Your servant pays them heed; in obeying them there is much reward.
שְׁגִיא֥וֹת מִֽי־יָבִ֑ין מִֽנִּסְתָּר֥וֹת נַקֵּֽנִי׃
shegi'ot mi-yavin minnistarot naqqeni
Who can be aware of errors? Clear me of unperceived guilt,
גַּ֤ם מִזֵּדִ֨ים ׀ חֲשֹׂ֬ךְ עַבְדֶּ֗ךָ אַֽל־יִמְשְׁלוּ־בִ֣י אָ֣ז אֵיתָ֑ם וְ֝נִקֵּ֗יתִי מִפֶּ֥שַֽׁע רָֽב׃
gam mizzedim khasokh avdekha al-yimshelu-vi az etam veniqqeti mippesha rav
and from willful sins keep Your servant; let them not dominate me; then shall I be blameless and clear of grave offense.
יִ֥הְיֽוּ־לְרָצ֨וֹן ׀ אִמְרֵי־פִ֡י וְהֶגְי֣וֹן לִבִּ֣י לְפָנֶ֑יךָ יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה צוּרִ֥י וְגֹאֲלִֽי׃ {פ}
yihyu-leratson imre-fi vehegyon libbi lefanekha Adonai tsuri vego'ali
May the words of my mouth and the prayer of my heart be acceptable to You, O ETERNAL One, my rock and my redeemer.
