For the leader. A psalm of David.

ya'ankha Adonai beyom tsarah yesaggevkha shem elohe ya'aqov

May GOD answer you in time of trouble, the name of Jacob’s God keep you safe—

yishlakh-ezrekha miqqodesh umitsiyyon yisadekka

sending you help from the sanctuary, and sustaining you from Zion.

yizkor kol-minkhotekha ve'olatekha yedasheneh selah

May [God] receive the tokens of all your grain offerings, and approve your burnt offerings. Selah.

yitten-lekha khilvavekha vekhol-atsatekha yemalle

May your desire be granted, your every plan fulfilled.

nerannenah bishu'atekha uveshem-elohenu nidgol yemalle Adonai kol-mishalotekha

May we shout for joy in your victory, arrayed by standards in the name of our God. May GOD fulfill your every wish.

attah yadati ki hoshia Adonai meshikho ya'anehu misheme qodsho bigvurot yesha yemino

Now I know that GOD will give victory to our anointed one, will answer him from the heavenly sanctuary with the mighty victories of God’s right arm.

elleh varekhev ve'elleh vassusim va'anakhnu beshem-Adonai elohenu nazkir

They [call] on chariots, they [call] on horses, but we call on the name of the ETERNAL our God.

hemmah kare'u venafalu va'anakhnu qamnu vannitodad

They collapse and lie fallen, but we rally and gather strength.

Adonai hoshi'ah hammelekh ya'anenu veyom-qorenu

O ETERNAL One, grant victory to the king; may [God] answer us when we call.
