לְדָוִ֡ד אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ יְהֹוָ֨ה ׀ אֶקְרָ֗א צוּרִי֮ אַֽל־תֶּחֱרַ֢שׁ מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי פֶּן־תֶּחֱשֶׁ֥ה מִמֶּ֑נִּי וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי עִם־י֥וֹרְדֵי בֽוֹר׃

ledavid elekha Adonai eqra tsuri al-tekherash mimmenni pen-tekhesheh mimmenni venimshalti im-yorede vor

Of David. O ETERNAL One, I call to You; my rock, do not disregard me, for if You hold aloof from me, I shall be like those gone down into the Pit.

שְׁמַ֤ע ק֣וֹל תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י אֵלֶ֑יךָ בְּנׇשְׂאִ֥י יָ֝דַ֗י אֶל־דְּבִ֥יר קׇדְשֶֽׁךָ׃

shema qol takhanunay beshavve'i elekha benosi yaday el-devir qodshekha

Listen to my plea for mercy when I cry out to You, when I lift my hands toward Your inner sanctuary.

אַל־תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי עִם־רְשָׁעִים֮ וְעִם־פֹּ֢עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן דֹּבְרֵ֣י שָׁ֭לוֹם עִם־רֵעֵיהֶ֑ם וְ֝רָעָ֗ה בִּלְבָבָֽם׃

al-timshekheni im-resha'im ve'im-po'ale aven dovere shalom im-re'ehem vera'ah bilvavam

Do not count me with the wicked and evildoers who profess goodwill toward their fellows while malice is in their heart.

תֶּן־לָהֶ֣ם כְּפׇעֳלָם֮ וּכְרֹ֢עַ מַעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְ֭דֵיהֶם תֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֑ם הָשֵׁ֖ב גְּמוּלָ֣ם לָהֶֽם׃

ten-lahem kefo'olam ukheroa ma'allehem kema'aseh yedehem ten lahem hashev gemulam lahem

Pay them according to their deeds, their malicious acts; according to their handiwork pay them, give them their deserts.

כִּ֤י לֹ֪א יָבִ֡ינוּ אֶל־פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה וְאֶל־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדָ֑יו יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִבְנֵֽם׃

ki lo yavinu el-pe'ullot Adonai ve'el-ma'aseh yadayw yehersem velo yivnem

For they do not consider GOD’s deeds, the work of divine hands. May [God] tear them down, never to rebuild them!

בָּר֥וּךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּי־שָׁ֝מַ֗ע ק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃

barukh Adonai ki-shama qol takhanunay

Blessed is GOD, who listens to my plea for mercy.

יְהֹוָ֤ה ׀ עֻזִּ֥י וּמָגִנִּי֮ בּ֤וֹ בָטַ֥ח לִבִּ֗י וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז לִבִּ֑י וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃

Adonai uzzi umaginni bo vatakh libbi vene'ezareti vayya'aloz libbi umishiri ahodennu

GOD is my strength and my shield, the One in whom my heart trusts. I was helped, and my heart exulted, so I will give glory with my song.

יְהֹוָ֥ה עֹֽז־לָ֑מוֹ וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז יְשׁוּע֖וֹת מְשִׁיח֣וֹ הֽוּא׃

Adonai oz-lamo uma'oz yeshu'ot meshikho hu

GOD is their strength; and a stronghold for the deliverance of our anointed ruler.

הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה ׀ אֶת־עַמֶּ֗ךָ וּבָרֵ֥ךְ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ וּֽרְעֵ֥ם וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם עַד־הָעוֹלָֽם׃ {פ}

hoshi'ah et-ammekha uvarekh et-nakhalatekha ure'em venasse'em ad-ha'olam

Deliver and bless Your very own people; tend them and sustain them forever.
