לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ ׀ לִבְנֵי־קֹ֬רַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃
lamnatseakh livne-qorakh mizmor
For the leader. Of the Korahites. A psalm.
רָצִ֣יתָ יְהֹוָ֣ה אַרְצֶ֑ךָ שַׁ֝֗בְתָּ (שבות) [שְׁבִ֣ית] יַעֲקֹֽב׃
ratsita Adonai artsekha shavta (shvvt) [shevit] ya'aqov
O ETERNAL One, You will favor Your land, restore Jacob’s fortune;
נָ֭שָׂאתָ עֲוֺ֣ן עַמֶּ֑ךָ כִּסִּ֖יתָ כׇל־חַטָּאתָ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
nasata avon ammekha kissita khol-khattatam selah
You will forgive Your people’s iniquity, pardon all their sins; selah
אָסַ֥פְתָּ כׇל־עֶבְרָתֶ֑ךָ הֱ֝שִׁיב֗וֹתָ מֵחֲר֥וֹן אַפֶּֽךָ׃
asafta khol-evratekha heshivota mekharon appekha
You will withdraw all Your anger, turn away from Your rage.
שׁ֭וּבֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעֵ֑נוּ וְהָפֵ֖ר כַּעַסְךָ֣ עִמָּֽנוּ׃
shuvenu elohe yishenu vehafer ka'askha immanu
Turn again, O God, our helper, revoke Your displeasure with us.
הַלְעוֹלָ֥ם תֶּאֱנַף־בָּ֑נוּ תִּמְשֹׁ֥ךְ אַ֝פְּךָ֗ לְדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר׃
hale'olam te'enaf-banu timshokh appekha ledor vador
Will You be angry with us forever, prolong Your wrath for all generations?
הֲֽלֹא־אַ֭תָּה תָּשׁ֣וּב תְּחַיֵּ֑נוּ וְ֝עַמְּךָ֗ יִשְׂמְחוּ־בָֽךְ׃
halo-attah tashuv tekhayyenu ve'ammekha yismekhu-vakh
Surely You will revive us again, so that Your people may rejoice in You.
הַרְאֵ֣נוּ יְהֹוָ֣ה חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝יֶשְׁעֲךָ֗ תִּתֶּן־לָֽנוּ׃
harenu Adonai khasdekha veyeshakha titten-lanu
Show us, O ETERNAL One, Your faithfulness; grant us Your deliverance.
אֶשְׁמְעָ֗ה מַה־יְדַבֵּר֮ הָאֵ֢ל ׀ יְ֫הֹוָ֥ה כִּ֤י ׀ יְדַבֵּ֬ר שָׁל֗וֹם אֶל־עַמּ֥וֹ וְאֶל־חֲסִידָ֑יו וְאַל־יָשׁ֥וּבוּ לְכִסְלָֽה׃
eshme'ah mah-yedabber ha'el Adonai ki yedabber shalom el-ammo ve'el-khasidayw ve'al-yashuvu lekhislah
Let me hear what God, the ETERNAL, will speak, as a promise of well-being to the faithful ones—this people; may they not turn to folly.
אַ֤ךְ קָר֣וֹב לִירֵאָ֣יו יִשְׁע֑וֹ לִשְׁכֹּ֖ן כָּב֣וֹד בְּאַרְצֵֽנוּ׃
akh qarov lire'ayw yisho lishkon kavod be'artsenu
Help is very near those who show reverence, to make God’s glory dwell in our land.
חֶסֶד־וֶאֱמֶ֥ת נִפְגָּ֑שׁוּ צֶ֖דֶק וְשָׁל֣וֹם נָשָֽׁקוּ׃
khesed-ve'emet nifgashu tsedeq veshalom nashaqu
Faithfulness and truth meet; justice and well-being kiss.
אֱ֭מֶת מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תִּצְמָ֑ח וְ֝צֶ֗דֶק מִשָּׁמַ֥יִם נִשְׁקָֽף׃
emet me'erets titsmakh vetsedeq mishamayim nishqaf
Truth springs up from the earth; justice looks down from heaven.
גַּם־יְ֭הֹוָה יִתֵּ֣ן הַטּ֑וֹב וְ֝אַרְצֵ֗נוּ תִּתֵּ֥ן יְבוּלָֽהּ׃
gam-Adonai yitten hattov ve'artsenu titten yevulah
GOD also bestows bounty; our land yields its produce.
צֶ֭דֶק לְפָנָ֣יו יְהַלֵּ֑ךְ וְיָשֵׂ֖ם לְדֶ֣רֶךְ פְּעָמָֽיו׃ {פ}
tsedeq lefanayw yehallekh veyasem lederekh pe'amayw
Justice walks in front as [God] sets out on the way.
