יְהֹוָ֣ה מָ֭לָךְ יִרְגְּז֣וּ עַמִּ֑ים יֹשֵׁ֥ב כְּ֝רוּבִ֗ים תָּנ֥וּט הָאָֽרֶץ׃
Adonai malakh yirgezu ammim yoshev keruvim tanut ha'arets
GOD, enthroned on cherubim, is sovereign, peoples tremble, the earth quakes.
יְ֭הֹוָה בְּצִיּ֣וֹן גָּד֑וֹל וְרָ֥ם ה֝֗וּא עַל־כׇּל־הָעַמִּֽים׃
Adonai betsiyyon gadol veram hu al-kol-ha'ammim
GOD is great in Zion, and exalted above all peoples.
יוֹד֣וּ שִׁ֭מְךָ גָּד֥וֹל וְנוֹרָ֗א קָד֥וֹשׁ הֽוּא׃
yodu shimkha gadol venora qadosh hu
They praise Your name as great and awesome; [God] is holy!
וְעֹ֥ז מֶלֶךְ֮ מִשְׁפָּ֢ט אָ֫הֵ֥ב אַ֭תָּה כּוֹנַ֣נְתָּ מֵישָׁרִ֑ים מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה בְּיַעֲקֹ֤ב ׀ אַתָּ֬ה עָשִֽׂיתָ׃
ve'oz melekh mishpat ahev attah konanta mesharim mishpat utsedaqah beya'aqov attah asita
Mighty ruler who loves justice, it was You who established equity, You who worked righteous judgment in Jacob.
רוֹמְמ֡וּ יְ֘הֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְֽ֭הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַהֲדֹ֥ם רַגְלָ֗יו קָד֥וֹשׁ הֽוּא׃
romemu Adonai elohenu vehishtakhavu lahadom raglayw qadosh hu
Exalt the ETERNAL our God and bow down to the divine footstool; [God] is holy!
מֹ֘שֶׁ֤ה וְאַהֲרֹ֨ן ׀ בְּֽכֹהֲנָ֗יו וּ֭שְׁמוּאֵל בְּקֹרְאֵ֣י שְׁמ֑וֹ קֹרִ֥אים אֶל־יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה וְה֣וּא יַעֲנֵֽם׃
mosheh ve'aharon bekhohanayw ushemu'el beqore'e shemo qoriym el-Adonai vehu ya'anem
Moses and Aaron among God’s priests, Samuel, among those who call on the divine name— when they called to GOD, they were answered.
בְּעַמּ֣וּד עָ֭נָן יְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם שָׁמְר֥וּ עֵ֝דֹתָ֗יו וְחֹ֣ק נָֽתַן־לָֽמוֹ׃
be'ammud anan yedabber alehem shameru edotayw vekhoq natan-lamo
[God] spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they obeyed those decrees, the law given to them.
יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵינוּ֮ אַתָּ֢ה עֲנִ֫יתָ֥ם אֵ֣ל נֹ֭שֵׂא הָיִ֣יתָ לָהֶ֑ם וְ֝נֹקֵ֗ם עַל־עֲלִילוֹתָֽם׃
Adonai elohenu attah anitam el nose hayita lahem venoqem al-alilotam
Our ETERNAL God, You answered them; You were a forgiving God for them, but You exacted retribution for their misdeeds.
רוֹמְמ֡וּ יְ֘הֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְֽ֭הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְהַ֣ר קׇדְשׁ֑וֹ כִּי־קָ֝ד֗וֹשׁ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ {פ}
romemu Adonai elohenu vehishtakhavu lehar qodsho ki-qadosh Adonai elohenu
Exalt the ETERNAL our God, and bow toward God’s holy hill, for the ETERNAL our God is holy.
