1. Who We Are

The Jerusalem Bridge ("we", "us", "our") is a language learning platform operated by Yaacov Schlezinger, accessible at lashon.online. We offer structured language learning tools for Modern Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew, Yiddish, and Aramaic, as well as 1-on-1 tutoring sessions.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

3. Subscription Plans

We offer the following app subscription tiers:

• Explorer (Free): Limited access — up to 50 flashcards, alphabet guides, and read-only community.
• Learner ($9/month or $84/year): Full toolkit for one language of your choice.
• Immersion ($24/month or $228/year): All 4 languages, dialect TTS, advanced tools, and priority scheduling.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds for unused time, except as noted in Section 6.

4. Lesson Payments

Live tutoring sessions are purchased separately from app subscriptions. Lesson payments are processed via SumUp or PayPal. A trial lesson (30 minutes, $20) is available to new students. Lesson packages are non-refundable once lessons have been delivered, except at our sole discretion.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abuse of the platform or community.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your app subscription during any billing period, contact us at samadeus@gmail.com for a full refund. No forms, no questions asked. This guarantee applies to app subscription fees only, not lesson payments already delivered.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content — including lesson materials, audio recordings, flashcard data, and generated lesson guides — is owned by The Jerusalem Bridge or its licensors. You may use it for personal learning purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any content without written permission.

Content you upload (e.g., lesson transcripts, recordings) remains yours. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process and display it within the platform for your benefit.

8. AI-Generated Content

Some features use AI models (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) to generate lesson summaries, flashcards, and email content. AI-generated content may contain errors. We review all lesson content before it is published to student accounts, but you should use your own judgment and ask your tutor if something seems incorrect.

9. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss of data, learning outcomes, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
