Psalms 125

שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת הַבֹּטְחִ֥ים בַּיהֹוָ֑ה כְּֽהַר־צִיּ֥וֹן לֹא־יִ֝מּ֗וֹט לְעוֹלָ֥ם יֵשֵֽׁב׃
shir hamma'alot habbotekhim ba-Adonai kehar-tsiyyon lo-yimmot le'olam yeshev
A song of ascents. Those who trust in GOD are like Mount Zion that cannot be moved, enduring forever.
יְֽרוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם הָרִים֮ סָבִ֢יב לָ֥֫הּ וַ֭יהֹוָה סָבִ֣יב לְעַמּ֑וֹ מֵ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃
yerushalai͏m harim saviv lah va-Adonai saviv le'ammo me'attah ve'ad-olam
Jerusalem, hills enfold it, and GOD enfolds this people now and forever.
כִּ֤י לֹ֪א יָנ֡וּחַ שֵׁ֤בֶט הָרֶ֗שַׁע עַל֮ גּוֹרַ֢ל הַֽצַּדִּ֫יקִ֥ים לְמַ֡עַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְח֖וּ הַצַּדִּיקִ֨ים בְּעַוְלָ֬תָה יְדֵיהֶֽם׃
ki lo yanuakh shevet haresha al goral hatsaddiqim lema'an lo-yishlekhu hatsaddiqim be'avlatah yedehem
The scepter of the wicked shall never rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, that the righteous not set their hand to wrongdoing.
הֵיטִ֣יבָה יְ֭הֹוָה לַטּוֹבִ֑ים וְ֝לִישָׁרִ֗ים בְּלִבּוֹתָֽם׃
hetivah Adonai lattovim velisharim belibbotam
Do good, O ETERNAL One, to the good, to the upright in heart.
וְהַמַּטִּ֤ים עֲֽקַלְקַלּוֹתָ֗ם יוֹלִיכֵ֣ם יְ֭הֹוָה אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵ֣י הָאָ֑וֶן שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
vehammattim aqalqallotam yolikhem Adonai et-po'ale ha'aven shalom al-yisra'el
But those who in their crookedness act corruptly, let GOD make them go the way of evildoers. May it be well with Israel!
