פּישערpisher meaning in Yiddish

a squirt; someone too young or too small to be taken seriously (literally: a bed-wetter) · noun (masculine)
Illustration for the Yiddish word pisher

You use it to cut someone down, especially if he is full of himself: he carries himself like a khevreman, the big man of the crowd, and as far as you're concerned he's a little pisher. It comes straight from פּישן, to piss — the same word you hear in גיי פּישן, go take a piss — so it's a bit coarse, and that's the point of it.

אַזאַ קליינער פּישער און ער וויל שוין פֿירן דאָס גאַנצע געשעפֿט אַליין.

“Such a little pisher, and he already wants to run the whole business by himself.”

When have you been tempted to call someone younger a pisher, even affectionately?
